July 6, 2008: My fellow queen (Miss PreTeen Midwest Galaxy 08) and I went to see the Jonas Brothers Concert at Summerfest. We were so excited and made signs in the car on the way to the concert. Wish we could have been closer than grass seats but at least we still could hear it. Can't wait for another concert.

July 8, 2008: Look I made the press. This was in my local paper about the upcoming competition. I can't wait for Nationals.
Backpack Coalition with Waukesha Salvation Army
July 1, 2008: I had a blast working at the Backpack Coalition. Who knew that counting erasors, scissors and highlighters could be so much fun. I can't wait to go back and help. It has put me in the mood to go back to school and get my own supplies. It is amazing the generosity of people. I counted almost 1000 erasers and highlighters.

MPTV's "PBS Kids Day at the Zoo"
On June 21, 2008 I got the oppertunity to work with MPTV at the Milwaukee County Zoo. I spent the day applying tattoo's to hundreds of little kids who love PBS characters. I learned quickly that Elmo was crowd favorite followed by a cute little sprite named "Abby". Thank you to MPTV for allowing my to come and share this day with you.

Handing out lunches at "Feed the Kids"
After a hard morning of making 130 PBJ lunches it sure was a great feeling when all the kids started to line up to receive them on June 16, 2008. They were all so happy to get something to eat. I can't wait to do this again. To bad it won't happen again until August.
Making Lunches for "Feed the Kids"
Wow, who knew that making 130 lunches of PBJ would be so messy. On June 16, 2008 I learned just how messy it was. I was amazed at the generosity of all the people who donated supplies to help us "Feed the Kids." It only made my morning better as I spread peanut butter on so many slices of bread. It was nice to know in a little bit I would see all the happy faces of the kids who got to eat. Thank you to the Waukesha Salvation Army for allowing my to come and help.
Walk for Drake's Sake
Well on May 23 "as I walked my feet cared for Drake." This was the slogan I made up for the Walk for Drake's Sake. He is a adorable little boy who is having some severe medical problems. My school had fundraising walk for Drake at which I designed the slogan for the tshirts and signed autographs as Miss PreTeen Wisconsin Galaxy.
